Millions of female drivers will see an increase in their motor insurance premiums come Decemeber this year. The increase comes following a recent ruling from the European Court of Justice (ECJ) stating that they will no longer be able to treat women favorably when it comes to their insurance quotations.

The changes are due to come into effect on the 21st December 2012, falling in line with the new legislation that premiums must be "gender neutral".
